You CAN, like I did when first starting out, but it’s a bit redundant, especially on desktop; most-if-not-all Lemmy communities can be accessed/posted-in by accounts from most-if-not-all instances; the whole reason I’m based in Lemmy.zip is because Voyager seemed to be the most well-rated iOS interface app on the App Store when I typed in “Lemmy”.

If they shut down one site, hundreds more will rain CONTENT UPON US!

If they cut off one head, two more shall take its place.
