If you bought a Steam Deck, would you actually use it?
I know a few people who bought one and it’s just collecting dust on a shelf or in a box somewhere.
40 year old she/her or they/them or any pronoun. I’m a woman… I think. I pretend to be an elf on the Internet. Lesbian-leaning bi, mostly attracted to femininity in all its beautiful forms.

Correction, Winamp still does this today while using a fraction of the resources.
Though if you’re on Windows I’d recommend Xmplay instead, it plays basically everything.
I’m on Linux and I use VLC.
I’ve never liked this meme. You train your cute little Machop to grow stronger, to take care of itself and to take care of you. You cuddle it at night because, no matter what else it is, it’s your pet, and you love it. But it trains so well it freakin’ evolves, and its reward is supposed to be… checks notes withdrawing your affection and closeness? Nah, fuck that with a rusty spatula.

For uploading, if you can’t do it safely, don’t. Stash it all, make backups, keep it until you can do it safely.

Brian David Gilbert laughing That’s not the case!

I thought that was a switch?

Nine times out of ten I’d hit the turbo button and then spend half an hour wondering why the family computer was running slowly…

Well how is it untypical?

I guess I’m nobody, then. /s

They should’ve distributed it as a flatpak, then it could automagically download its own dependencies /j
