Space tech can be dual use, as military tech to destroy usa. This way we can explore space, and solve the problem at home as well.

You should probably start learning about politics. If you only start when the bombs drop on your head, it’s too late.

6·3 months agoIn one, you pay rent to live, while the other one lives rent-free in your head
Get it? Rent-free
Because they got rid of the parasitic landlords
Have no fun paying rent to parasites, br*tish monarchy bootlicker

61·3 months agoI doubt that. See, if you actually lived in ireland and wanted to complain about a monarchy, why make up one on the other side of the world, when an actual monarchy is occupying part of your country?
Maybe you actually live in a certain fake country whose name starts with “I”? That is at war with a certain real country whose name also starts with “I”?

Or do you really believe koreans aren’t real humans? Most yankees are rabid dehumanizers after all.

Privacy@lemmy.ml•Europol predicts a 2035 with no privacy, robot police, robots displacing workers, debates about "robot rights" and criminals commanding hundreds of drones simultaneously
2·4 months agoThis is completely unfeasible. Convincing a bunch of people won’t cut it. For this to work, you’d need to rule the whole world with an iron fist, and then there’d still be secret resistance research labs everywhere.

91·4 months agoSurely they’re gonna build a robot police force with no oil, no gallium, and no robot factories.
I predict a 2035 with no europe.
(Although I do like the idea of being a criminal commanding hundreds of robots. The republican space cops with their slave armies and idealism magic would hate me. CIS ftw.)
Someone linked to lemmygrad on r/latestagecapitalism. I looked at both lemmy and lemmygrad (this was pre-federation) and realized that the “hard-coded slur filter” was genius.

Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•I think Lemmy in general is very against AI. I'm rather new here, is it like a fediverse group thing or is this even based on reality?

All of Lemmy? No. A small instance resists: Lemmygrad.

Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•What would the Department of Education change it's name to if it renamed itself like the Department of Defense did?
1·6 months agoDepartment of maleducation
At first I didn’t like the idea of a name change. But WLBR is perfect (because I’m a wilbur fan).
