So how do triple rainbows work?
So how do triple rainbows work?
It was probably a year ago or more, I just remember it because the poster didn’t realize it had a butthole and didn’t tag it NSFW.
I would hope so, but Asus has been doing things like this for at least 10+ years which makes me doubtful that anything will change soon.
Trying to refund through Asus will result in them dragging their feet, being as unhelpful as possible, or claiming you damaged the product.
Qubes is linux isn’t it?
Ok, so this is a Lemmy post that links a r/ailess post that links a r/privacy post that finally links this Ars Technica article.
Why not just link the Ars Technica article to begin with? I don’t think there’s any good reason to link all these separate chained discussions.
It restoring deleted photos onto wiped devices that have been resold is a privacy nightmare.
It has an announcement banner at the top that (when clicked) says the site is being shut down in 6 days.
So several smaller lemmy instances (like sopuli, ani.social, reddthat, etc) are having some serious slowdown issues right now and are having delayed federation with lemmy.world. From what I understand, the suspected cause is a kbin bug, where it’s glitching out and spamming the fediverse with infinitely repeating federation updates. Several lemmy instances have blocked kbin over it (including lemmy.world and sopuli), but it’s still causing issues and slowdowns.
There have been multiple attempts to reach the admin for kbin about it, but his developer accounts seemingly went dark 4 months ago (according to his commit history) and he’s not responding to any messages. Mbin has seemingly already patched it according to their resolved issues/pull requests, but it’s looking like kbin may have to be cut off from the rest if the fediverse unless the dev resurfaces.
My windows install started corrupting my hard drive every 1-2 weeks. Completely unrecoverable requiring a fresh install. I installed Linux to try to see if it was a hardware issue, and it worked fine without issues. Ending up just sticking to it. Couple years later I built a new PC, and tried windows again. I enjoyed having all my games work again (this was pre-proton so Linux gaming was hit or miss), but really hated the experience of using windows after being free from it for so long. Went back to Linux, and have been here ever since (about 10 years now). And thanks to valve/proton, I no longer feel like I’m giving anything up to use exclusively Linux.
Its crazy that a fanless 15watt arm chip can run old games this wel! Compared to a pentium 4 thats is taking off.
It’s not fanless, but the Steam Deck APU also has a 15w max (total power consumption can climb up to ~25w after fans/screen/etc). Overall really impressive what can be run these days on so little power.
I really loved Solus back when it was in more active development, I’m glad to see it coming back.
I wasn’t able to find an original, but I would assume it was either talking about the fact that they’re crustations and not bugs, or talking about the different regional names for them (roly poly, pill bug, potato bug, etc)
No to seeing the edges from the middle, I’ve been to Kansas and couldn’t spot the edges.
As for the shape, my theory is more like a pizza with a thick crust. I haven’t been able to verify though, NASA keeps rejecting my proposals for investigating further.
Centrifugal force moves the Earth’s mass outwards, so it’s thick at the edges and thin in the middle.
It may be ready, I haven’t tried their latest version. Most of the functionality was there, but it had some rough spots. I’ve been meaning to go back and try daily driving it again.
I think that’s what BlendOS is working towards. You might keep an eye on them.
I’ve taken in a number of cats, it takes awhile for the older cats to accept new cats, but they’ve always gotten over it. The only exception is I had one singular kitten who could not get along with the other cats and had to be re-homed.
I’m willing to forgive ffmpeg because it can do an insane amount of stuff. It’s nice to know whenever I have a weird media related need (converting a file, cropping and compressing a video for discord, etc) that I already have a tool capable of doing it on my machine. Just takes a quick search for the command and I’m ready to go.
To be honest, I kept a text file of all my most common ffmpeg commands in my video folder for quick reference.
Yeah, the bank that manages my mortgage has mandatory text message 2fa if you’re on a new computer. And something about Firefox keeps it from remembering my machine, so I have to do the text message 2fa everytime.
Right now it’s working fine, but they had a period of a few months where the text messages would take 10-15min to send after you tried to log in, and the log in attempt would expire after 5 min, making it impossible to log in. All of which could be avoided if they would let me use a 2fa app.
