Thank you for pointing that out. Do you know any modern idioms? I couldn’t remember any but sayings. I was looking up sayings but a synonym is idioms though they are not perfect synonyms. That last part was just a joke. Mind the lack of “/s”. I do apologize for my “mistakes”. However OP asked about sayings and those “terms” classify as such. I could not find any modern idioms so I went with sayings as per OP’s request. Yet I have recognized the difference, I apologize secondly for not explaining myself clearer. As for the meanings, that is what is colloquial in my experience and that is how they are used sometimes, rather than just the origin, which I could have added in there. I apologize for not adding the true origins as I was going off of straight knowledge and experience using them and hearing them used. Sayings, like words can evolve over time. For example: Pot calling the kettle black. Most kettles were black at one era in time. Now they can be different colors.

This one was explained to me at one point on YouTube.

They are called idioms in a sense because some of us can’t help but feel uneducated when we cannot figure out what they mean or why that phrase would come to mean what it does. No, I punched walls when I was a kid for fun anger. But it is understandable for a young person to be rebellious and malicious as we almost all were. There are different levels. the main thing is looking back and realizing it was wrong and wanting to change. There are no bad people in this world, there are just people who do bad things.

No, it means you are responsible enough to look back and realize what you want to change in life. A bad person wouldn’t understand that they did anything wrong. Also, we’ve all did mischievous things when we were young .

I once asked ChatGPT how it (AI) works. It gave me the tools needed to get the right results. There were books on prompt engineering free online. But I decided after reading them that it was easier to have AI teach me to use AI…better. that’s the LLMs. On the other hand for image generation, it takes persistence and priority. If the prompt is too complicated, it will do its own thing. If it is too simple, it will do its own thing. After a lot of practice getting to know how it outputs images you will find the right, or close results. Emphasis on close. Leonardo.ai is my favorite.

Edit: if you don’t believe you are creative enough, prone the LLM for ideas. Ask it to make the prompt. They are finnicky

Have they given you anything creative that was good. I also, used it to make a meal plan and make a work schedule as an Excel doc, then it just needed a few edits.

They help me make better searches. I use ChatGPT to get a good idea of what better to search for based on my inquiry. It tells me what I am looking for, and then just use a search engine based on that.

Also, taught me some python and appscript. Currently learning and testing its capabilities in JavaScript teaching. And, yes I test out everything it gives me. It is best to output small blocks of code and lice it together. Hoping for the best and then, 3 years later finally create an app lol because that is on my end. Still working on an organization app. 80 percent accurate on following complete directions in this case.

Yea, I have been aware. Not necessarily on either side of this equation. But I agree with the fact that it would be more advantageous to grant certain non-offending immigrants citizenship, and have several legal points of entry at the border, with enhanced security so that it is less likely for smuggling to happen (possibly with either more border patrol or an alternative structure) and more migrants are encouraged to enter with a more streamlined and fair process, one that doesn’t leave them worrying about deportation, sans any criminal record or pending charges.

Edit: I am not talking about his first term. I wasn’t fully against either candidate, there were good and bad with both Trump’s first term and Biden’s. It is the entire principle of this type of deportation that is wrong.

A lot less than Trump. They allowed more and mostly it is about the legal ones and refugees. You don’t just extend a hand and then retract it when it is convenient. The ones that actually committed crimes, other than coming into the country undocumented, can go.
