I’m never going to be able to escape that garbage website, am I? Every post lately has this comment spammed in it worse than I’ve ever seen anything spammed on reddit.

You can respect privacy, and be open source, while being pleasant to look at. The entire website is awkward. It’s the same color everywhere, no padding between videos so everything glazes over, everything is the same color so nothing stands out to signal what different section of a video or page you’re looking at, the comments are all the same font and the same size (using only bold to denote author) so even the text is difficult to read.

I’d love the site if it tried in the slightest but apparently y’all stripped every bare shred of web design out of this along with all of Youtubes garbage. I’m not going back to fucking Angelfire or Freewebs because none of the developers had the input of someone who works frontend webpage development.

  • Yep. A couple years ago there was news that someone working at reddit was a pedophile sympathizer. Turns out an employee lived with her father. Said father was a known pedophile. She defended him, and pedophilia, in the past. People were enraged. Reddit took a very long time to fire her despite the fact that it triggered a reddit wide protest.

Spez hired her directly and didn’t want to fire her.

Then there’s the fact that Spez was a mod of the jailbait pedo subreddit. Now… At that time you could add anyone to the sub mod team and it would auto accept the invitation. That was the line going around saying why Spez was on the mod list. However given the fact he’s praising Elon Musk, a known pedophile sympathizer with ties to Epstein, and refused to fire a pedophile sympathizer he hired?

Doesn’t make Steve Huffman look like anything other than someone who’s hiding one very dark secret.

  • Not so fun fact: When Aaron joined the reddit team, the other founders agreed Aaron deserved the title of founder too.

A couple years after that, Spez openly bitched in a thread that Aaron shouldn’t be calling himself a founder. Aaron responded saying that it was part of the original deal but if Spez, or the other guy, wanted Aaron to stop saying he’s a founder then the two just needed to ask. They never did. Aaron died.

Reddit proceeds to grow. Site changes. Site gets a founders page. Aaron is listed alongside Steve and Alexis.

A couple years ago when Steve took over as CEO and started to abuse his admin powers to edit OTHER people’s comments, he also removed Aaron from the founders list for no reason and with no warning. When people noticed, he hid the page. It’s hard to find now but if you do? Aaron’s name is nowhere to be seen.
