Had a comp sci teacher do a decent job making an argument for the 3-in-1 as our limited three-dimensional interpretation of a multi-dimensional (4+) being. A multi-dimensional existence is going to interact with our three-dimensional world in ways that are impossible to interpret holistically since it extends into and is connected through dimensions that don’t exist for us. Like a tesseract, we have visual representations of tesseracts but they aren’t what a tesseract would actually look like if one appeared in front of you one day.

Weekly report that says XXXX attempted/failed attacks of X type, of y type, etc. and the ability to produce the 70m scroll and generally talk about the stuff on request.

That’s a common reporting problem, there have been no “successful” attacks, you show value/work by making sure to note all the unsuccessful ones.

I 100% salute your mom but raw capability isn’t even really the point. Realistically, your average person, let alone older person has absolutely zero interest in needing to touch a terminal. They want to live as close to auto-magic as they possibly can. I hate Apple but the idea that it “just works” is one of their primary selling points, right along side the whole status symbol thing. It’s not a right or wrong, just people being people.

That might just be the default though, they had sms until this change, so TOTP may still be on the table.

It’s wild that I just got my Robotech collectors edition box set, which was a pre-order, a few weeks ago, and it had a Funimation code in it. This was either a sudden decision or very poorly communicated in-house.

While I’m told such places exist, I have yet to knowingly interact with a business officially doing this for employee computers.

You talk about Deezer dropping features but then the ones you list are super basic things Deezer still does, so I think you need to go into a bit more detail regarding what you want out of this.

You should have some experience with a successful search on the topic before you try to pull the LMGTFY card. Looks dumb when it doesn’t work.

No good advice, but I want to say kudos to you for seeking self improvement!

Whether you like the idea of company culture etc not withstanding, it’s easier to push in office where people are sitting in an environment that you have the power to craft and shape. As a predominantly call center based business our reporting has shown improvement moving from pure WFH to hybrid, I’m not going to apply that to other businesses, but for us it worked out that way.

My local library gives me a free subscription to Headspace, so I use their Sleepcasts a lot, if it turns out that yours does too; Cat Marina 1&2 are good times, as is the Slow Train, Rainy Day Antiques, and Temple Rain.

Same, I have sleep tracks I listen to as well that usually start with a relax/disrupt your self-think exercise and then start describing a scene, like a train ride through pastures, this is not the same as leaving the TV or YouTube running, or an audiobook; it’s intentionally boring and low engagement but it gives you something to focus on listening to so that you don’t get caught up in your own thoughts, similar to the eavesdropping.
