Some package managers have a command to see if anything is in need of restart. Zypper has ps -s for example. I’d restart to be sure though.

With an immutable system the flatpaks would be the way to go
Inconvenient package management
Can’t you just use the Gnome App Store or whatever it’s called?
No shit dude lol
What happened to just donwload the app from it’s own creator and install on your machine?
That’s the Windows shit I specifically wanted to get away from
Your system might be messed up
Flatpak sandboxing (bubblewrap)
“Man of science” sounds so much cooler than “scientist”. Such a shame it’s not used anymore
F1 hybrid
Plug-in formulas
It does make sense for me to have this functionality in systemd the way they want to go about doing this.
Only complaint that I had about OpenSuse was that horribly slow package manager, other than that, It’s a solid choice
ZYPP_SINGLE_RPMTRANS=1 and ZYPP_MEDIANETWORK=1 have made wonders. They are experimental but I’ve had good experience with them, with those zypper is a lot faster
It sounds like a Lemmy post
As the world erupts with demands for racial justice, the chemistry community has the obligation, opportunity and momentum to drive for diversity and inclusion in the sciences. Efforts towards that end must begin by allocating opportunities for success on the basis of potential, not privilege, and follow through by soliciting and acting upon feedback from the scholars we have recruited.
“I have a number of things and that number is 1”
*me waiting for EventCalendar and Krunner-Symbols being updated for Plasma 6*
Luckily with Plasma it’s not as common for extensions to break.
I love it but I definitely wouldn’t call it rock solid. I have occasional small bugs here and there and especially with the Plasma 6 switch I’ve had the whole desktop going down (and taking all programs with it). That has been fixed though.

It sounds like it’s the kernel but whether it has anything to do with ssh, I really don’t know. Sometimes parts work together in surprising ways, as I learned with the recent sshd/systemd/xz exploit.
You might be fine and this was the most alarming exploit since it’s very inconvenient, but personally I’d restart just to be sure.
