How is this relevant to Linux? FF release notes get posted here, as FF is the de facto standard browser on Linux distros. Vivaldi isn’t.

I do not want to judge on Vivaldi, I am merely questioning its relevancy to the community here.

Windows 7 -> Windows 10 -> Mint -> Kubuntu -> Arch -> Fedora -> Mint -> Fedora.

I do understand your scepticism towards companies; the reason for my question was that I got the impression from your first comment that you don’t like/install MIT code and was just confused as to why someone might dislike that.

I know that MIT is no Copyleft license, but is that really a problem?

Also exposure to the country. Just driving through it (or sitting in an all-exclusive resort for that matter) is not what I consider travelling/exploring.
