More fresh air can never hurt!

Eh, if they run their own ActivityPub server they can probably extract everything in a neat format.

No, I’m not old enough for that, and anyone else younger than me certainly never will be. I only ever hear of the good old days from posts like these, but from what I gather, at least some of that magic can be found here, which is why I’ll never leave this place. “Conventional” social media never appealed to me at all, with all of the “trends” and “influencers” and whatnot. Reddit was what had caught my affection, until the APIpocalypse, which sent me right here. Whatever it was in the past that I didn’t get to experience then, I feel like I’m experiencing it now, in one way or another.

Search engines are only getting worse because it makes line go up: https://www.wheresyoured.at/the-men-who-killed-google/

I’ve got this idea that’s been in my head for a long while, the gist of it is this: “What if Celeste had guns and/or fighting game combos?”

Kerbal Space Program 2 as an Early Access game on Steam. Take Two poached developers those that worked on KSP 1 and then laid off the entirety of Intercept Games, the studio that they made for KSP 2. Even though it’s not being worked on anymore, you can still get it on Steam for an eye-watering €50, which was exactly what I paid (before the layoff happened, on day 2 of Early Access). This was after I had great experiences with other Early Access games like ULTRAKILL and Satifactory, so I thought that a company like Take Two wouldn’t fuck the pooch that hard. It’s playable, the graphics are neat, the music is very nice, and they did manage to add the science mode before it all went to shit, but I’m sad that the promised two other solar systems, planet colonization, resource extraction, automation and multiplayer will probably never be added. That is, unless someone else buys up the project and actually finishes it.

They’ll immediately switch to English.

Data-intensive? Electron intensely uses all of your system’s memory data, right?
Do you grip the device in both hands to use the joysticks, or do you just move them around with your thumbs? It looks rather thick, but also very cool.

Whenever I look at the comments of a Gamer’s Nexus video, Steve often remarks on the hordes of bots he banned, but when I go to other videos, I usually am unable to tell what’s real and what’s fake. I guess that the commenters that have scantily-clad women as their profile picture probably aren’t real, but are there other signs that I can look out for? Naturally, I don’t attach more than a grain of credibility to YouTube comments, but I just want to really get a feeling of just how botted they are.

You can probably run Android apps through Waydroid if you really want to.
Python is being even smarter by trying to underflow the distance to the finish line.

Damn, you got here first! OP, if you don’t find their explanation satisfactory, reply to my comment and I’ll be sure to help.

I couldn’t find a pie chart, but this list should suffice. lemmy.world has as many active users as the five next largest instances. I don’t think that you can make such a binary decision of “decentralization”, but it’s clear that they hold a good chunk of the active users.
My last comment was meant to be sarcastic, but I suppose that I didn’t make that very clear. I just find it rather annoying when new lemmings are steered directly to lemmy.world while hand-wringing about federation being too hard. It really isn’t.

This map is very inaccurate, as it neglects those who had consumed electrical energy through lightning striking them. That cooked flesh didn’t come for free!
