My very rural school used a technology grant to get a few smart boards (that first kind). I’m an older millennial. They were not as useful as a white board for drawing stuff on the board but quicker to setup for slide presentations.

Side note: the National Park Service has an awesome team running their social media accounts. Their posts are always hilarious and informative.
An AC unit could actually help with that since it will dehumidify the space. Many have a dehumidify only mode. You would still want to bleach the mold that is there though. If you are renting, let your landlord know and hope they do something about it. It might be a legal requirement that they do something about it, especially if it is black mold.
If you have a basement, stay in it. When it was 108°F here in Seattle the other year, it was in the mid to high 70s in my basement office. If you do not have a basement, am evaporative cooking method can cool you a bit of you are in a dry climate. You could also hit up a pool or grocery store or movie theater. All those will help you cool off.
Check Craigslist for a portable AC unit. I was able to snag a free dual hose portable AC unit a month ago. The hotter it is though, the higher the prices are on Craigslist.
Not me but someone who did it in our yard back when I was a wee lad: a gun. Don’t worry. Someone did not drop their gun willy nilly in our lawn, at least not recently. The thing was a very rusty 80-year old revolver. He also found a decent amount of tax tokens.
Digging in my current yard has not resulted in anything as fun: 150 beer bottles, an animal skull (still not sure what species), and a wine bunch of oyster shells.
Yeah…definitely work on that toxicity.
The gamer girl that’s into gamers is a myth yeah, but what I’m supposed to do.
Maybe don’t have this toxic attitude. That will absolutely come across when talking with women.
I have heard Hinge is okay.
Do you have any hobbies?
I met my wife on Tinder years ago before there was a premium version. I also used OkCupid. Both were bought by Match which ruined them. Badoo has always been filled with scammer from what I remember.
From what I have heard, dating apps are way worse nowadays. That sucks for lots of people who are shit picking people up in person. There are also fewer third places where it is obvious that single people are open to being social rather than getting annoyed that they are being approached.
A better alternative might be to find a hobby group and try to meet people there.
What sort of crack are they on that they think unauthorized use of an entire work for commercial gain is fair use? I think copywrite laws are ridiculous but that is a pretty low bar they are trying to set.
They should have to pay for their usage or retrain the model without it. Going to guess they would prefer to pay up.
By “controlled lending system,” do you mean the library? If so, it is ridiculously expensive for them to offer ebooks and audiobooks. One ebook costs $60-100 and they can only lend the licensed copy for two years. You would think audiobooks would be more expensive to do but publishers charge roughly the same.
First OS was MS-DOS on a Tandy. First Linux distro was Knoppix.
When you do not have much of a bank account and you could easily be starting at tens of thousands in legal fees, it’s pretty easy to be unable to find them.
Lipstick on a pig along with others already mentioned.
Plus the new president seems pretty decent.
You don’t know what you are talking about. There are absolutely homeless people in rural areas. While you might not see people begging on the street downtown, there are absolutely people living in their car, camping, or sleeping under a bridge.
I grew up in a very small rural town of 2500 nowhere near a city. There were absolutely homeless people. You seem to have a view of homeless people that only exists in the movies.
Everyone knows you hop on another kid’s shoulders and put on a trenchcoat, fedora, and sunglasses and gave the name Robert Businessman.
