  • Sugar is a primary source of food for the bacteria that make up plaque. If you feed the bacteria, they will grow. As you can’t eliminate 100% of the sugar from your diet, teeth care is always going to be required. Less sugar, however, means, slower growth.

Also. Just like dogs have dental chews that help to clean their teeth, eating other non sugar foods can assist with controlling plaque. Vegetables in particular are helpful, but even something like chewing on beef jerky acts as a sort of scrub brush for the outside of the teeth.

  • The problem is not ‘Capitalism’. It’s the JACK WELCH brand of Capitalism, the one that tears apart the soul of any company that produces goods and turns it into a robot for profit with the sacrifice of any meaningful corporate planning or infrastructure (including workers) investment.

Until THIS ends, Capitalism is, in fact, an evil.

Edit: Honestly. Please. Look up what Welch did to GE and how it spread to every other corporation. It’s EYE opening.

  • I would sure hope so. If I look at myself (since that’s where I have context) I’d say yes. I think a lot of the shittiness in people’s personalities stems from trying to meet their needs (some of them unreasonable) and competing with everyone else to get them. That’s a very me versus you mentality which leads to aggression and forms bad personality traits.

I’d like to say that everyone begins to understand wants versus needs after a few decades, and settles down into a pattern of contentment rather than resentment.

That’s just not true though, is it?
