My personal favorite is pineapple, mushroom, and jalapeño. Sweet, savory, and a dash of spiciness. Then I’ll usually add some dried scotch bonnet flakes if I’m eating at home because I’m a fiend for spice and scotch bonnets are delicious

Piracy: ꜱᴀɪʟ ᴛʜᴇ ʜɪɢʜ ꜱᴇᴀꜱ@lemmy.dbzer0.com•Plex is locking remote streaming behind a subscription in AprilEnglish
8·9 months agoI didn’t realize my setup wasn’t usable. What does plex offer that makes the usability so much better? I considered plex for my newish setup but if anything, all the privacy controversies and charging for features was more unusable to me than anything I’ve noticed with Jellyfin

Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•Are there any occupations you uniquely oppose the existence of?
4·1 year agoI cannot for the life of me understand why billboards are legal in general. We’ve gone through the effort of banning distractions like even touching your phone while you’re driving, which makes sense, but yet these massive advertisements who’s literal sole intention and purpose is to get you to look at it instead of the road exist and are everywhere. They’re also complete eyesores. Why?! It surprises me there hasn’t been more campaigns like that, I can’t imagine billboards are exactly a popular idea
It’s probably from within the last 30 years or so

Linux@lemmy.ml•This is why people should stop recommending Arch. Fedora or Opensuse TW should be recommended instead for new people.
5·1 year agoBoth getting fixed with Fedora 41 luckily, DNF5 by default and a new installer they’ve been working on
I knew I was good for something

Linux@lemmy.ml•What is a distro with updates of Arch but dependencies of Fedora?
2·2 years agoFedora 41 specifically is when it’s planned to be introduced, which would release towards the end of the year. It was initially planned for 39 but got delayed sadly, though I think there’s a way to swap to it for testing? But yeah, hopefully DNF can shirk the obvious “did not finish” joke because it really is slow

Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•What movie do you see too young, that still scares you today?
5·2 years agoThe Grudge. I saw it when I was maybe 7 or 8? I was at an Aunts house with some older brothers that had it on. Honestly I barely remember actually watching it, but good lord it scarred me until I was at least 18 or so. I could never get the image of hair growing out of random places, turning into something terrifying out of my head whenever I was showering and stuff. I still haven’t rewatched it :D I’m quite a scaredy cat when it comes to horror movies already and I could totally see it giving me nightmares again if it’s anything like I remember as a kid

Linux@lemmy.ml•whats bes and why: github, gitlab, codeberg, etc.
8·2 years agoAs a regular user who doesn’t do any dev work but likes to keep tabs on various projects, Gitlab all the way. It has an interface to track issues specific to a given version, giving you an easy way to gauge progress on upcoming releases and see what the holdups are. I’ve not found any kind of analog for that on GitHub unfortunately, but maybe I just haven’t looked in the right place
