  • I don’t know what’s скороварка on English, I guess it’s an easy rice cooking and heating device that can be set on timer. Buy one, then disassemble it and see where heating elements of that thing are. Tape them on you hard drives, better if they are SSDs, set the timer, put it into a wall socket and leave. If you are of adventurous kind, do the same with microwave’s transmitter, pointing it out of the box, but be cautious as fuck because this shit can cook your balls or head in seconds.

    or, better yet

    You know that most MBs have special contacts for power\reset buttons? You can do two circles to them, one is for you to power up the system normally from some secret button and one from a normal button is to trigger some funsies with things easily triggered by current or heat, like dry gunpowder. So when some ABC agent would try to power up your machine, some funny thing occurs.

    and if you are worried about it being disassembled in their lab, print big stickers that stick components to their slots, like OEM fuckers do, and then put cheap razorblades under them near the edge of said stickers. That’s a lifehack nazis and then punks used to deny their posters from getting easily ripped off.

    1. I hear something there or from my friends. It’s funny, but our small Lemmy did make me watch a bunch of stuff, not by posts mostly but by references in comments. MOTHERLAND NEEDS YOU TO MAKE AT LEAST ONE MOVIE REFERENCE PER COMMENT;
    2. I manually download it via qB and keep it seeding OR find it in VK if I’m short on time and it’s there. I don’t care about quality since I have shit for sight and can’t care, but I know how russian dub can either save or ruin things and not having a choice makes me avoid all streaming platfroms altogether, not to say what shitty companies own them and how their contemporary local-produced suggestion are irrelevant to me;
    3. It sits on my non-system larger hard drive. I put it onto some USB stick to take it to where I can watch it with others;
    4. On Win it’s MPC-HC\VLC, on Linux it’s VLC mostly. I’m still in a search of a Linux player that can find and play external subs and dubs itself without me clicking around;
    5. Usually, just from my memory. Sometimes I put notes or send messages to myself at what point I stopped.

  • I don’t know how it works with a frequently updating OS. In my mind beaurocrats can become asses about certifying one exact version they inspected and then making users afraid that open source community can inject the next version with viruses and they can’t be sure it’s okay too. Ah, and making each certification a paid service and somehow fucking it up.

    In Russia there are like two projects of local Linux with custom wine that you can buy just like other software, certified by FSB for sensitive business (I believe them being the first pieces of software to get it except specific cryptographic stuff), but I feel the reason it’s getting adopted and certified is because there are some nepotism and illegal connections with money not really changing pockets.
