Is there any source for that? I need it! It’s kind of confusing, because there are plants called chinense, that are actual chinese natives (could be a naming error, happens a lot), so I’d like to know the exact rules.

Cells are very diverse, though. Some can get over your first divide.
Also most carnivores are oportunistic herbivores too. It’s not shocking enough, but it’s true.
It’s not just black and white, herbivores or carnivores. There’s a whole spectrum of omnivory and humans are superomnivorous. We can survive on many types of diet.
Love how botanically fitting this reference turns out to be!
I think “frustration at the world for being the complicatedd, messy place it is, and a longing to go back to the simple innocence of childhood where even basic physical processes are magical” is exactly the sentiment that leads many people to become anti-science. They turn their frustration at the people who want to grasp the complicated rules of the world and make appropriate changes according to them. They just want things to stay the same childhood magic.

Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•Do you ever think you're smiling for a photo, but then when you see it you look like you have a neutral or even frowning expression? Why does this happen?
6·2 months agoI have the opposite problem. I feel like I’m smiling a nice decent smile, but then I see I looked totally maniacal.

1·2 months agoYep, we agree. I was just pointing out the overall pH doen not change, there are ways to avoid that. From the the previous comment it kimd of seemed as though if you put something acidic in, the overall acidity must increase, which is not the case, so I wanted to make sure random readers don’t get the wrong idea.

Pavlov: I hate animals. Schroedinger: Yeah, I hate them too.
Let’s exclude humans from the comparison, it’s not fair. I mean, humans eat whales.
Wiki says: skates, rays, squid, octopuses, eels, SMALL SHARKS and large fish. Emphasis mine.
The hind legs? No way.
So just more gigantic? It’s a terrifying carnivore anyway, right?
Because nerding knows no limits. Taxonomy rocks.
