  • The Walking Dead. Twice.

First time was when a coworker was telling me how good second season was and I should give it another shot. I ended up binging it then later talked to him about how shocking it was when it was revealed

you’d turn no matter how you die.

Turns out he hadn’t finished the season yet.

Second time was the third season when

Merle died. I was rewatching it with someone and when Merle was acting all heroic before his rogue suicide mission, I commented that it’s such a trope when a hated character do something uncharacteristically selfless before they die so they could make us feel something for them in the last minute. In my weak defence, when I watched it for the first time, I thought it was pretty clear it was a suicide mission, but apparently it is not.

It is weird. Dick measuring contest is usually a term used to mock pointless feuds. Actually requesting one is a self burn.

On that note, I hope that means the cage fight is not happening if it was at all. Apparently they talked about doing it at the Colosseum and poor thing has been through enough lately.

  • I work in tv and film, the company held a trivia and I was picked to answer a question in front of everyone. I got nervous, especially in front of my crush, and botched an Indiana Jones movie name… Probably said something stupid like “Raiders Of The Last Crusade”. When I finally escaped the spotlight, he said to me “I can’t believe you got that wrong” (in a friendly way). That was a huge blow because not only that I embarrassed myself in front of the whole company, he is also a cinephile and I felt like I appeared so lame.

Anyway we’ve been together for about 7 years now and making plans for the future.
