Is there a good resource for what the data that astronomers get from there kinds of telescopes look like, and how they parse it? Data nerd here, but I don’t understand astronomical sciences.

It was so hard to get a good look at them but some of the rock pools had some kind of shrimp in them. I could just barely make them out, and definitely couldn’t get any pictures. Love seeing invertebrates!

Mostly I was checking out the fish and invertebrates coming up into the shallow waters and rock pools. Filed my first ever inaturalist observations!

Thank you this is exactly what i was looking for. Cataloguing critters I found on a marine reserve in the Bahamas last week was so interesting but doing it all without any experts to learn from was lonely.

Also we had to dispose of the bottle the THF came in, since the pipette graduations were now floating around in there.

How did we dispose of it? Poured it all back into the bottle and labeled/kept it as waste.

Mmm THF. In another life I had a sample I was preparing using THF as a solvent, and I didn’t know how these tiny black specks got into it. Took a moment to realize the THF had dissolved the adhesive that held the numbers and markings on the glass pipette I used to draw it from the bottle 😅

Yep I vibe with this. I remember when I had a whole array of micropipettes. It was the best.

If you watch too many episodes at once you realize they all end in shootouts, and then you feel sad.
