Giant spiders that mistake a malfunctioning satellite with the AI prosona of their creator for a god and repeatedly try to solve mathematical equations that are nothing more than a test of intelligence. Plus they will enslave the ants.

441·2 months agoHow does it not have social media or browser if so many apps are compatible? Doesn’t that amount of compatibility mean we can still have social media and browsers?

2·4 months agoIt seems to be based on how the website is interpreting the browser. I got mine correct but with the battery mentions Firefox and a removed API. I wasn’t using Firefox.

Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•What movie franchise gets worse with each new film?
11·4 months agoI’m sure there are people who will argue that Back to the Future Part II was the worst of the trilogy. Part III might be the best.

The Progenitors only created a handful of Humanoid species across planets.
Star Trek: Voyager has a specific answer to this question.

EDIT: To anyone unfamiliar with Star Trek, this episode of Voyager is “Distant Origin” (season 3 episode 23). In the episode, a species named Voth, encounter the remains of a Provisional Ensign Hogan who had died back in “Basics, Part II” (season 3 episode 1). Among a slim minority of the Voth science community is what is known as the Distant Origin Theory which suggest the species came from a far away place, which goes against The Doctrine, a narrow minded belief that Voth have always lived in the part of the galaxy they are currently located. During the episode it is determined that Voth and Humans share related DNA, which is later hypothesized to mean dinosaurs on Earth evolved to a point which they left the planet to live elsewhere.
I knew from the cropped thumbnail it was Ryan George.
Sadly I have a video for this topic.
The original said the code is compiling.
Phil McGraw, I like to point out has a bad reputation and still got a prime time drama about his career on CBS called Bull.
There are been allegations that the work environment on the set of his talk show was toxic for those working on it. On top of that, there had been allegations that guest who were on certain types of medications would have it withheld before taping. Separate from this there was allegations that guest would often be given alcohol and illicit drugs before taping.
I’ve only watched like five minutes of this show ever, where a mother tried reaching out to her daughter that was engaged in sex work. She wanted to get her daughter to stop the sex work. Everything McGraw said was vile and victim blaming about the daughter’s lifestyle. It was utterly disgusting.
Honestly, I blame Ophra Winfrey for propping up that quack TV host.
I can’t recall the name but I recall a European movie (I saw it on cable television) where celebrities sell their skin to be grown in labs to be sold as meat for people to eat. The main character would go around finding sick celebrities, stealing their DNA and infecting themselves with the same illness.

So the universe is a trans allegory?
E Pluribus Anus?
We don’t know that they developed space travel and left Earth either.
