Pretty sure that was already something they announced that they’d do.

The only ‘transparency’ he’s shown is screenshots of basic spreadsheets that don’t actually clarify anything. His minions are just sending him spreadsheets extracted from systems they don’t understand, and he’s just making decisions based on whether the title of the program sounds woke or not.
It’s going to be fun when he fucks with some Wall Street Equity fund’s money.
Yep, the actual competence was basically in the army (inherited from a long military tradition), so it’s important that those generals don’t cave.
His first venture was a business directory on the internet (ie. The yellow pages, but online). No idea if he or this brother actually wrote any code for it, or if they hired someone. Wouldn’t surprise me if he didn’t do any actual work for that project either.
IIRC they kicked him out of PayPal because he wanted to run everything on windows instead of the Unix/Linux servers they were running on. And the reason for it was because he couldn’t figure out Linux.
They already stopped providing passports to trans people, even if they’re willing to use their old name and gender. And I’m sure that policy will end up hurting women that changed their name after marriage as well, it anyone that changed their name for whatever reason.
Did they talk about nuking the great lakes again?
Yeah, I didn’t want to shit on you guys. Most of you are all right.
So I guess it’s just only us Millennials that know how to convert a PDF properly, and we’re just sandwiched in between boomers and gen Z finding the most ridiculous ways to try to accomplish that task.

If it’s open source, look through their GitHub (or whatever) issues to see if it’s a known bug and see if anyone’s working on fixing it. Then wait for them to update their forum software and try again.Edit: actually, this error indicates they’re not using parameter binding to build queries and aren’t even properly escaping input. Assume the database is already compromised and don’t sign up or post on this forum. Whomever is running it doesn’t know what they’re doing.
If you already signed up and you used a password that you use anywhere else, change it on any other websites that share the same password.
I’m assuming he means backend frameworks, like Ruby on Rails, Codeigniter, CakePHP, etc. That fits the timeframe, I think?

The pandemic and Ukraine shows you can’t just count on global markets in a crisis, and we’re heading into a world with more, not less crises. Countries everywhere are onshoring critical industries, and the BRICS countries are working on getting off the dollar. That’s happening whether Trump is President or not (and unfortunately he is).
Strategic doesn’t mean just military. It means strategically investing in this capacity so you don’t get caught with your pants down when Russia turns off the tap and destroys your economy overnight. We’re past the globalist world now, and if your country is still making decisions as if we are, you’re not doing it right.

There’s no point in creating a new distro, add a new repository if you must.
Sure, there’d be some arbitrage, but pretty much every country that has a functional government will invest in domestic capacity for strategic reasons. You won’t have countries that have none at all and have to import everything.
There’s (admittedly comparatively expensive) alternative processes, and even if you stick to the old process and just stop using coal for electricity generation you’d cut coal use by 75%.
Not to mention, the carbon that stays in the steel doesn’t actually go into the atmosphere, so there’s less CO2 emissions for that specific use if you can substitute the fuel used for heating.
There’s alternative processes, and if you avoid burning oil and coal for fuel you can basically do all that with the amount of oil that’s in easy reach instead of using tar sands or drilling into even more difficult to reach places.
Yeah, there’s no reason to be transporting hydrogen long distances. You can make it anywhere that has water and electricity. And if you’ve transitioned to a hydrogen based economy (which is a big if), ships wouldn’t run on oil any more anyway, so there’s no problem there.
Reddit had a subreddit dedicated to bots just posting to each other as well.
