Thank you!
Thank you!
I’d love some nebula channel recommendations as well
I know this isn’t an answer you’re looking for, but I’ll at least say that I find tmux to be infinitely useful and highly recommend checking it out
Any recommendations for amp and DACs?
Thanks :) My wife is very supportive despite constantly having to find room for more antique audio equipment…
I like restoring antique radios. Mainly just the electronics, but I’d like to learn how to restore the exteriors as well. It’s nice to work on something tangible after working on a computer all day
What are some of you and your kids’ favorite records?
LG C1 is “smart”, but satisfies your other criteria. It has been replaced with newer models, but I imagine the user experience must be similar.
I haven’t even seen it’s smart functions the whole time I’ve had it. I press a button on the Apple TV remote and a few seconds later the TV is displaying the Apple TV menu (connected via HDMI through a receiver). No menus to navigate and no ads that I’ve ever seen, though the first thing I did when I got it was disable all the “suggestions”.
If you like investigative journalism, Someone Knows Something. David Ridgen is fantastic in all of his shows and the care with which he handles delicate subjects is rare.
It’s an ASCII graph/graphic/art/etc editor. I use it to make portable diagrams for work often. Best of all, there’s no subscriptions, just a $10 one-time license (and free demo)
I’m not affiliated in any way, I just think it’s a great tool.
Yes. It would be a security issue without iCloud, as there would be no way to prevent an unauthorized party from accessing clipboard contents
I have found that the Universal Clipboard works well for me
Tycho, UTAH, Attom, lots more in my instrumental playlist. These are mostly chilled or electronic type genre songs, but I also have a “djentstrumental” playlist if that’s your jam, with artists like For Giants, Andromida, Returning We Hear the Larks (a personal favorite), and more.
Thanks!
The Lexus IS500. I know it’s not as fast or “spirited” or technologically advanced as an M340i or a C43. But I love the styling, the reliability, and the naturally aspirated V8. I’ve been talking my wife’s ear off about it and saving up for a while now. I’m hoping maybe in December I can snag one.
It’s not bad. The biggest downside is just that it isn’t that big so I’ve only found a couple channels on there that I’m interested in so far. I decided to give it a shot because I really hate ads, so even just having a couple channels I liked (like neo and Mustard) ad-free was worth giving it a shot. I used a creator link to sign up at a discount which also made the price a more palatable $30 for a year: https://nebula.tv/neo
I assume you can replace the last part of that URL with a different channel’s slug to support that channel
