Drain wasn’t terrible for me, and live location is miles better than maps. But yeah, ditched because of thier bad rep.

Yup, just switched to this. It’s not quite as live as I was used to with life360, but it works for what we need.
My wife and I share our locations with each other and I also have my elderly inlaws configured as well. Never hurts to be safe!
Doesn’t that require other IPhones for it to ping off of and report? What if she’s in the middle of nowhere. I’m not sure why this is getting upvotes but it seems like a terrible idea and unreliable.
Thanks for this, switched from Weather Underground
Nobody drinks the first part of that and thinks it’s “pretty good.”
Not OP, looks like it could be this:
Slug Night Light,Silicone lamp for Kids USB Rechargeable Cute Animal Lamps Timer Setting safe Bedside Lamp Portable LED Lamps for Breastfeeding Dorm Room Decor for Christmas Gift Baby Kids Girls Teens https://a.co/d/4xEcu6A
The midi file doesn’t play automatically, but I see that’s a thing your working on.
Also need gifs of Bart Simpson saying “Don’t have a cow man”
Vista was FULL of security issues though. I did PC support in that era and I kept going to one house in particular because they would pick up some crazy virus / Spyware from thier kid visiting sketchy porn sites. Didn’t matter what I did or how I locked it down, or what AV I installed he would manage to get it reinfected. After the 8th time or so I just made them buy a XP license and told them they need to have a hard talk with thier kid about all the sites he was visiting. Once I had XP installed and appropriate AV, it stopped being an issue.
Edit: Whoops, nevermind it was Windows ME. Carry on with your Vista love (though I’m still not sure why you loved it)
Second for Reolink. I’m just using local SDcard storage atm, but might consider something like Frigate, just hasn’t been needed yet. Got 3 cameras and 2 doorbells, all hooked into Home Assistant.
Salt and Pepper grinder from a well recommended brand. Was like 80 bucks for the set and it’s not better than the ones I get from Sam’s Club. Infact it’s worse. Disappointing.
I can buy it in Iowa. It’s good stuff.
I’m pretty close to this, I still don’t keep 4k, I re-encode to 2k and save buckets of space for the things I want a really nice copy of. Even on my big screen I’m hard pressed to tell the difference.
Whisper AI is pretty darn good. I’ve used it to make subtitles for MST3K vids where nothing good exists and maybe only had to spend 10 minutes doing some clean up. It even recognizes when different people are speaking and breaks up the subs accordingly.
Nothing overly crazy but I remeber watching the Matrix in the theater for the first time and being sooo pumped up that my buddy and I went whopping and hollaring through the mostly abandoned mall food court (got out super late). Mall security ended up chasing us down in the parking lot because they thought we had stolen something or were vandals. We had to explain we were just high from a great movie lol.
Ha, I just recommended Coop Home Goods as well before I read your comment. Best pillows ever.
What they meant to say was “Buy a Coop Home Goods Eden Pillow”. We have four on our bed and two full body pillows as well. Can’t sleep on anything else now, always take at least one when I travel.
Two at minimum, one in the morning, one at night. If I am nasty and gross from doing something, more.
100% gave me some matrix vibes
Not a recommendation per se, but if you like to ugly cry watch “Dear Evan Hanson”
