Okay, thanks for correcting me
I don’t have copilot but still have all the chat windows when I open vscode, but maybe that’s legacy
Autocorrect hates me, I am sorry.

Don’t forget it comes with copilot which will send all your code for training by default.
You’d have to have opted out on your GitHub to prevent that.
With all the solar mirrors, won’t we overhear the sun shooting all that light back?

Two 9’s, the pinnacle of reliability.
Depends on the size of the box and how long it’s been
The HDMI consortium are shitheads who demand royalties, and all Linux PCs are gimped to not have modern HDMI features because of it.
I’ve never had this issue, could be a driver thing, but it’s not common.
Oh, you want to plug your own computer into your own TV using a cable you own?
Isn’t there someone you forgot to ask (and pay)?
It is… green.
I feel like greybeards were always people who care little for the standards/expectations of society.
They probably have a lot in common with trans people, who unfortunately are forced to overcome very aggressive and hostile societal standards.
But Greybeards have a lot of luxury relative to trans people. They’ve always gotten to do what they want because of competency as a bargaining chip. Trans people as a group generally don’t have that.
Anyway, I’m rabbit holing. We treat trans people awful and they do nothing to deserve that.
Edit: I don’t mean to say trans people aren’t competent, just that greybeards privilege exists because they’ve passed through a specific niche filter that the general population has not

They also have to be a particle physicist for the atomic trans actions.
Dress for the job you want, not the job you have.
There needs to be metal band called Vulture Bees, this is too metal.

That’s fair.
I went gnome -> kde -> cosmic -> kde -> cosmic.
And I’m thinking of trying hyperland or something built on river so I can more customization.
Just put some copper up there, that’ll fix it.
This is existentially terrifying.

Gordon Freeman?

Cosmic can feel pretty immature still.
I’ve had to write some of my own widgets and I mostly deal with settings through terminal controls unfortunately (e.g. Bluetooth pairing hangs if a device needs a password).
While I had no issues with my network, if it’s “unique” in some way it might have bugs still, and the terminal tools would be better.
I’m new to Linux and I haven’t really had to deal with this, so I can’t say what the right way is.
Passkeys are okay, but your browser and OS want you to use them because you can’t just take a passkey to another platform, you have to create a new one, and it’s a pain in the ass.
It’s a lock-in gimmick latching on to a real useful solution.
This is another one of those games that’s clearly suboptimal yet everybody plays.
