11·1 month agoSo far it’s all cam/telesync … I’ll wait.
They have HDMI ports if you want to directly connect them to a PC and just use it as a screen. Or an ethernet port you can use to play stuff over the network (usually by running a media server and having a client app on the TV).
This is the way.
yes, use extto(dot)com instead.

10·2 months agoYou can torrent 4k movie/show BD remux versions, those are gonna hit close to 100 mbps, but damn that TV of yours must really be big.
Not sure about 10 mbps audio, my average flacs seem to have between 3 and 5, I don’t think my ears would be tell the difference if it was any higher (I can hardly tell the difference to 320 kbps mp3s).

4·2 months agoYeah, currently releasing show seem to be the most active (but pretty sure that’s also the case on nyaa).
Does it specialise in niche anime?
Not specifically, but I’ve seen people uploading some rather rare and old shows, for example the gecko/geckyzz group is also releasing on nekoBT.

4·2 months agoWell, naturally, nekoBT is quite new. I was more talking about the interface and filtering options.
Also nekoBT allows linking and importing of nyaa accounts, so it should be quite easy for uploaders to move their stuff over.

Please stop! I quite often have to change it to neighbouring countries because our servers are always slow and overloaded …

I’m not even seeing that option, btw:

19·3 months agoEh, I pirate because most of these services are NOT convenient. Claiming to “save the world” seems a bit bit over the top though. I just like to collect and watch stuff on my own terms.

2·3 months agoThat happens when you don’t have access to any libraries. You either have to set up your own or get access to someone else’s.

I do. Streaming sites (official or pirate) can still remove content or go offline all together. Also the pirate sites often have low quality.
With downloading I have full control over everything. And the collecting itself is fun, too!
The only real downside is HDD/hardware prices.
