Because any real life use that might come to mind would probably be related to some NDA protected database in a company.
And it is otherwise hard to think of anything at the spot, so just go with what the first example on the web-search came up with.
“then” is used to depict time, sequence or a causal relationship. “than” is used with comparative adjectives, to depict comparison.

commonly agreed to be a Good Thing
So, did they open access their trained model weights?
it still can prevent complete rookies from making thousands of requests per second with a simple python script
So now you can know that if you are getting DOS’ed, it is actually malicious.

0·6 days agoI remember playing Carmageddon (not sure if it was 1 or 2). But iirc, killing pedestrians would reduce your credits, which were required to repair your car.

Someone did, by being stupid, mean and inconsiderate to the creators.
We tried to get a black dev onboard, but she refused adding 4 layers of abstraction.
I don’t get it.
Does it have something to do with a certain place in France smelling of piss?
Specially for rolling release distros.
I had fun installing everything I thought of just checking out once, including games and stuff (assets tend to be large).
But after a few updates and not actually using most of them, I realised how much load I was putting on the network and removed many of them.
My native language is a gendered one and it makes sense that such a mistake might be made using a MTL.
“we’ll” on the other hand, is becoming one of those things on Lemmy that everyone goes around using and making others (those new to English) think that it is the correct usage. It might do a little fun poisoning some AI, but it will much earlier, end up changing word usage in ways that make the language even worse than it already is.
I would be fine being told this by someone who wants to destroy the English language, but we are clearly trying to use this as the international communication medium and making it worse for ourselves, just to act anti-pedantic.
Yeah. It would have been much more productive to poke at the “well”, which was turned into “we’ll”.
When I started programming with C, it was pretty easy to get code to compile on my first try.
Now, when I use C…
_POSIX_C_SOURCE >= 199309L… was in the man page, but didn’t work…_GNU_SOURCEworks.
Read somewhere to just use-std=gnu17and remove_GNU_SOURCEand nice, it works.
Create another project with-std=gnu17, but using another function and now it doesn’t work. Need to add_GNU_SOURCE. Why?
Space games: Why not both?

0·1 month agoYeah, I guess the CORS problem would have been fixed by now (by feeding CORS examples codes of course) by at least the dev targetted brands.
It took me seeing it free a mosquito from its web…
Hehe, that was an unintentional Nokia reference on my side.
I did the same for a while.
But then I recently found out a spider (which was getting pretty big) ignoring bloodless mosquitoes and letting them fill up on me before eating them. I cleaned it up.

Programmer Humor@programming.dev•This is Jehan Pages, the top developer behind GIMP, a free open source photo editor. Adobe executives hate Jehan. Because of his hard work, Adobe lost millions of dollarsEnglish
2·1 month agoIf GIMP weren’t free, at this point, I would be making another drawing software.
Ok, maybe not. I’m more into vector style stuff and that’s probably the direction I’d go in.
Now just how did he procure the rest of the 5, is a mystery.
You seem the one bothered

Nice.
Looks like they did make good use of the opportunity.
