It doesn’t matter if the house cost 800k. If the market rent is 2k a month. That’s all you’ll get.

In the area where I had my rentals, the houses are 500k but the rent is only 1k. Now I bought in 2008 and only paid 120k. So only lost some money but I made it up in tax benefits.

People really don’t understand the economics of landlords. They think it’s all money in the pocket. It’s not. It’s a very thin profit margin with most the benefit being taxes.

People have some myth of passive income. I sold all my rentals because they were taking to much time. I never turned a profit but it was good for my taxes. If you want to slum lord you can turn a profit but even I dislike those people.

If I didn’t want it, I wouldn’t have an Iphone. I would have something else.

I have no issues with Apple controlling the Iphone. That’s why I buy it. If I didn’t like it I could buy an android phone.

I work as a sales engineer. I have degrees but when I started they had nothing to do with what I did. This year I should clear about 400k. We do travel to customers as needed. This year I traveled one time for 3 days. I could have made it a day trip but I wanted to see the city. I was at a different company the year before. I traveled more often because I like free food, air miles, etc. other than the travel, I’m fully remote

Normally I use it when I don’t have time to cook something or go pick it up.

I typically cook at home. I’m a decent enough cook that it’s cheap and it taste better.

Where are you hearing that? I have not heard that Russia is taking a pounding and so is Ukraine.

Right now, it’s a stalemate.

It is a war of attrition at this point and if it drags out long enough, Russia wins because they have more people to throw at the war.

I do not think the F-16 is going to make a large difference in the war. People who never served are the ones thinking it’ll change the war.

The question is how long can the Russian soldiers hold out? I do believe once Ukraine breaks through the lines will collapse quickly but they’ve yet to break through.

I do think NATO has done a disservice in training the Ukrainian military to fight a combined arms fight but then not supplying them with the weapons to fight a combined arms fight.

I personally think Ukraine will win but it is going to be a long fight.

Damn I learned expensive knives are worth every penny. I’ve had them twenty years. Normally I’d buy a knife and have to throw it away after a couple of years because they couldn’t be sharpened as they were cheap.

I cook every day and it makes it so much easier.
