Humans decided their fur was too soft and they looked too much like rats. Obviously the only course of action was to kill them. I love humans /s

They seem like they’d be great pets, if it wasn’t for their unusually short life span of around 4 years as pets (according to wikipedia), and only 1-2 years in the wild.
