I keep hearing bad stuff about proton, but I don’t really get most of it. Could someone please explain all of the controversy to me. Lastly, what are the best alternatives to all of their services?

    Didn’t they also do a crypto wallet product when that was all the rage? I think their decision to engage with that industry also left a bad taste in some people’s mouths.

      That was the time it became apparent they weren’t in it as a niche privacy company, they just wanted to bandwagon to grow numbers.
