Probably a noob question, but I wonder if someone has experience with that. I am looking to buy a TV and I wonder is it makes sense to buy one with decent HDR capabilities, when my plan is to watch pirated movies from my Linux device via HDMI. Is that technically possible? Is it easy?
If it matters, I am on Fedora silverblue.
hell yeah, brother (or sister, or sibling). even if you’re just using public trackers via torrent, films or series utilizing hdr should be available. I would also second MPV like others have said
