Start with immersing yourself into operas. Old pieces, contemporary pieces… this could be a good start.

Go have a roller coaster ride and “write” it out with your screams. As you calm down, there will be no opera left in your mind. 🤭

No not really, I have rudimentary knowledge of notes. Could AI help me here? If I hum or sing the tune (The dramatic storyline is partially finished),could an AI engine turn it into a Partitur for each instrument?

Amazing. Wants to write an opera, has no idea how written music works (but has knowledge of notes, thank god), and then wants to use AI to bridge the gap instead of learning a fucking thing.

Weren’t you in another thread claiming to be a musicologist with 45+ years experience? And yet you can’t read or write music without AI?

I guess you’d better start with building an appropriate theatre ; don’t worry, just follow “Pratica di fabricar scene e macchine ne‘ teatri” and you’ll get set up in no time, with gods descending from above, devils surging from the bowels of the earth and other high seas tempests (with monsters) - all the normal things you need in any decent opera. Have fun!

I already did- it literally rained insults. I tell you, these heretics won’t be getting any free tickets for premiere night, the luddites.

Are they Luddites because they said using AI to write your opera is a laughable premise? Because they’re right, you know.

Why should it be laughable? It is not as if I’m suggesting that it should be sung by robots… although… although… this gets me thinking! perhaps I better shut up , the world is full of thieves.

That is partially finished, I have also selected the voices. In my head I can already hear a lot of the piece, and occasionally I hum partitures from it in the shower.

The shower test proves you are ready. Just record it (audio only) on the shower and post it on social media…

Well, you would, for starters! No this will be an original piece, I can’t talk about the actual story line - this is HOT baby.
