I still see them in stock from time to time and might even buy a pack here and there, but I can never remember their name. I literally searched for “alte quadratische kaubonbons” (old rectangular chewy candy) haha

I used to house Fruit Bars when I was a shorty…I recall they had a center strip of white but the internet suggests maybe they didnt?
I also have a memory of eating orange fruit roll-ups with my mom once upon a time and still recall the flavor. Wish they still made them. Now they only have strawberry and whatever the fuck tropical tie dye is supposed to be.
I also loved licorice laces which used to be (or seemed to be) 3’+ (1 m) long and chewy but manageably so, but these days they’re barely a foot 0.3 m) and usually hard as rocks.
