I wish y’all could’ve heard the laugh I let out when I saw this post. Fuck GitHub & fuck Nintendo.

I kinda do the same thing. I’ll go through spurts of posting in music communities here (as well as commenting, for better or worse) and I use Beeper to check my discord and twitter group chats, but I mostly bounce between Lemmy and Bluesky, if only to avoid “the algorithm” and the non stop scrolling that comes with it.
I mean that I became more interested in FOSS, privacy, and cybersecurity because I was (and remain) angry at reddit and all walled garden ass social media platforms.
Bruh I saw that shit, but I didn’t feel like walking into the comment section to fight that day.
I became the typical Lemmy user with interests in the topics you dislike because of the nature of the reddit migration, but I have to agree with the lack of skinfolk humor. It’s kind of a bummer.
Personally, I think being impervious to damage is a great thing 😂
Bruh! I still don’t get it and I’m on my second watch. This made me feel better about it. I’ll give it more rewatches 😂
One of my favorites. I’ll watch it every two years or so
Am I wrong in thinking that if you obscure your identity well enough, there’s no reason to worry about legality?
I didn’t check which instance this community was on. .world mods would delete my comment or some shit for cursing.
F*** em both. But, that’s just my opinion.
I was raised on pirated copies of PS1 games and taught about torrents/P2P by my mother. I’ve been immersed in piracy since I was a child, It’s just normal to me. Never needed to make myself feel bad about it. if anything, once I got older and learned more about how the modern world works, I started to feel righteous about my actions.
Are they basically ConcernedApe?
Literally the main person in mind when I was writing that last sentence 😂😂 he can have my money.
Edit: I pirated stardew initially, then bought three copies over the years on different platforms, either for myself or as gifts for friends.
Setting legality aside, what ‘level of piracy’ is morally or ethically acceptable to you?
All levels. I think that human beings are morally and ethically obligated to do anything that causes a corporation to lose or miss out on profits. They exploit and disrespect our power as consumers by changing EULA after we purchase products, I see no reason not to rob these mfs blind.
If it’s an indie game I’ll pay for it after pirating, if I enjoy the game.
/s for the whoosh
That’s a fuckin keeper right there.
This is true. I still enjoy my aeropress.
What a fantastic idea!
I would be creating more waste with the k cups if I kept the Keurig
The aeropress coffee maker and a coffee grinder. I threw my kurig machine in the trash after making my first aeropress coffee.
Omg thank you, I’ve only seen Gaia once but I loved it and I forgot the name!
