Somewhere deep in a thread involving a db0 user, Sleerp@feddit.uk posts a screenshot supposedly from annihilation.social and also featuring users from poa.st, apparently nazi forums, where nazis are celebrating that they are successfully invading db0, and that one of them became an admin there. The link is not valid and it’s not clear if the screenshot is fake or not. The user who posted it, claims the thread got removed after a db0 admin saw it.

Basically somebody is accusing db0 of being invaded and run by nazis, posted a screenshot that can’t be verified nor disproven and now we are in conspiracy land.

It seems very far-fetched, not impossible but unless more concrete evidence emerges I’m safely putting this in the looney bin.

Having been a man my whole life, I have never struggled to get into any female-dominated hobby group etc. It’s not an issue whatsoever.

As long as these gender-exclusive spaces don’t preclude people from participating in wider society, it’s fine. I can live just fine knowing I’m not welcome in womens safe spaces. I think most women are okay with not being invited to the boys weekend.

Just overall this seems like a non-issue. Where I draw the line is things like, men not letting women into certain jobs, or barring them from voting, etc. Basically if you prevent people from participating in society in some way. That has nothing to do with people wanting their own spaces.

It’s piracy. Companies put varying amount of effort into preventing piracy. MC sales are largely powered by people wanting to play together, so why bother making it difficult.
