for the others you have to copy everything somewhere and than select the part you want.
it it does not need a gui, use docker and log in into it. do the stuff and when you are done, docker rm and everything disappear.
you can enable cuda inside the container, follow the docs for that.
bonus point, vs code can open itself inside a container.
btrfs and you get snapshots, the ability to send subvolumes around + compression and a ton of other stuff.
be aware that to configure a good layout in btrfs you will need to do that manually, follow the arch wiki and you will be ok.
btrfs can also send volumes to whatever you want, even a file.
send the file to your phone and print using the app.
i have a velcro roll type of thing and is very useful to tie together cables.
