Great list! One suggestion: Try Helium’s OpenBoard fork for keyboard. It has tons of features like full Material You theming, glide typing, multilingual language support as well as autocorrect and suggestion support. I’ve been waiting for autocorrect to be added in FlorisBoard for more than an year now.
They need to noobify that prompt further, something like “Yes, break my system!”. Even Linus wouldn’t fall for that (I hope)!

KDE feels like it has been designed by developers themselves whereas Gnome feels like it has been designed by actual designers. The UI/UX is more polished and beautiful, better than even MacOS imo. But as a power user, I prefer KDE. The amount of customization it offers is unmatched, overwhelming even.

BBB was my entry into SBCs but had to shift over to the Pi as my requirements got complex. Apart from what you’ve mentioned, there’s also the fact that BBB is waaaay less powerful than the Pi, I mean we’re talking 512 MB RAM and a single-core 1GHz processor here.
