I found a cheap VPS and the easy_deploy script from git, that’s how it started. And for 10 €/month I’ll keep it going with a user count of 1.
Linux on my selfhosted system with email and DNS, FreeBSD on my 2nd system. 2ndary DNS and hot standby for emails. Best of both worlds. You may hack the primary, but not both.

I like it. As an IT guy I tried to set up my own instance and failed because the guides and READMEs are shit. So I chose the idiot proof way, now here I am. I’m missing the content, but hey, we Redditors just joined. Let’s wait a while.
