  • Newfy “English” is the Quebecois of English dialects. It’s barely understandable by the rest of the country. An Englishman and an american/Canadian will be able to understand one another mostly with no problem. There will be the odd slang word that trips 'em up but, overall, the message comes across. Newfy is hard to understand what most words are, the accent is thick.

Similar to a Scottish or Welsh accent, I should think, to north Americans.

  • Not sure if they’re everywhere, but around here you just go to the local farmer’s market and find the old hippy who makes soap. You buy the soaps you enjoy the smell of and use those. Basic ingredients that are much nicer on your skin, and usually last longer.

Bar soap works well for lather with shaving if you don’t use an electric raiser as well.

Haven’t found a good deoderant yet, all the ones that are better for the skin don’t seem to work well. At least, every person who’s told me about their healthier deodorant has smelled of bo.
